Leavenworth County Kansas Appraiser Best Neighborhoods/where To Live In Kansas?

Best neighborhoods/where to live in Kansas? - leavenworth county kansas appraiser

My DH is a government contractor and a job with his company at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. We need to find a house and not know, do not even know anyone there, and what the communities are looking and so on. Which areas of Nice / counties or districts within commuting distance to the base and the schools have the best reputation? Since DH is not active military, but an entrepreneur, I understand that we can not live on base or our kids go to the post. This is our first big step, and I have no idea how the research already!

Thanks!

My brother is in the Army at Fort Leavenworth and live outside the base in the city of Lenexa in Johnson County. Most cities in Johnson County are very nice. Shawnee account to another suburb north of Lenexa.

The big question is how much is ready to manage?

No Place Like Home, There's no place like home ...

Good luck.

If you are not on the basis not live, live in Leavenworth. Leavenworth public schools are terrible. They would be much better than life in the city of Kansas, Lawrence, Topeka and a journey. Leavenworth is approximately 15 minutes from each of these places. You can find safe places to live in Kansas City, depending on the amount of income .... Overland Park as if Kansas City is out of your price range, I really want to live in Lawrence. This is not only home to the University of Kansas, but there are several public high schools and middle schools, and many residential areas are separated from the city center. To obtain a family, feel a city. Good luck with your move!
