The main cause of the problems with LightScribe is not generally installed on the LightScribe system software. This is the software layer of low-level labeling software used to be with the LightScribe drive, LightScribe software can not communicate without working. For some reason, many vessels with LightScribe disc labeling software, but not the NSSO, an omission that tends to create confusion.

However, the LightScribe system software for free, and easy to install. You can download it from http://lightscribe.com/downloadSection/w .... If you have installed, run a program for labeling and see if you have options, it LightScribe. Otherwise: the opportunities that we spontaneously a) the LightScribe drive is not connected to the computer - Make sure that there is a drive letter for the drive in Windows Explorer b) you have an older version of Windows, the LightScribe function -- You need 2K, XP or Vista, or c) the software is not LightScribe labelingsupport.

If you have already installed the LightScribe system software, I sure will recommend that you use the latest version - HP update only one of the last week and the software can solve many problems, update your device compatibility. If you have the latest LSS and labeling software detects that you experience a LightScribe disc, but errors when you try to print, clean the disc label side with a clean, dry cloth (LightScribe engine seems to be particularly sensitive) and try to dust, various hard drives - sometimes I have bought many discs LightScribe disc was broken 50%.

As you try new software, in any case, I would advise you Acoustica LightScribe software, which I think is the best available. You can download a free trial version .... http://www.acoustica.com/cd-label-maker/

Hope this helps! Good luck.
